The TOOLS I use, love, and recommend (the basics)

Hi! So glad you’re here! You want to make a change, and I’d love to share with you what’s worked for me and my clients and what I believe can absolutely work for you too. When focusing on my own health and fitness I’ve found there are three key elements:

  • Fitness
  • Nutrition
  • Support

I’m so glad to be able to provide all three in a convenient, fun package! 🙌🏻 I personally love and use Beachbody on Demand for my workouts, a dense superfood shake called Shakeology and some sound eating practices I’ve learned from our programs for nutrition, and my private online health and fitness community (ladies only) as well as my network of fellow coaches to keep me motivated, excited, and inspired! Let’s talk about all three:


THE FITNESS PIECE: Beachbody on Demand

In short, it’s the Netflix of Fitness! Every Beachbody workout program, coordinating eating plan, workout calendar (and more) in one place, online, for you to stream/view from any device. Even better? One yearly price allows you to access every program, which includes the popular ones like 21 Day Fix, Insanity, P90X, P90X3, Country Heat, Turbofire, PiYo, Body Beast, and more, along with any future program that’s released as well. You can stream the workouts anytime, anywhere.

Instead of using DVDs, now I can simply pop open my laptop or bring up the workouts on my phone or tablet and stream them that way. This is so much better than purchasing each program separately like I did in the past, and so much simpler for travel! You can also access Beachbody on Demand on a growing list of devices like AppleTV, Roku, Amazon FireTV and ChromeCast.

Each fitness program through Beachbody on Demand (or BOD for short) includes a calendar of workouts that lays out what to do when. No need to wonder what workout to do each day or what sequence to do them in, these programs have been expertly designed and it’s all laid out for you! Each program has a nutrition guide you can download, some include tracking sheets (just depends on the program) and you also have me to help walk you through the program to make sure you’re getting the results that you want. This isn’t about just starting and completing one program, it’s about starting your journey to your best health and fitness and then moving through what will be stages of your journey. The way you get sustainable results is by making this into a healthy lifestyle!

I love this option to use Beachbody on Demand because it gives you flexibility to move between programs and freedom to be creative with your routine.  But the most important part of this whole thing is the SUPPORT! Sure, anyone can just buy a program . . . but we see the most people getting results when they have our community of support around them helping them to get those results! That’s where the magic truly happens!


The NUTRITION Piece

It’s pretty well accepted that RESULTS are a combination of about 80% NUTRITION and 20% FITNESS. So of course, we need to really focus on that first part so we can see the benefit of the work we put in through fitness! Most people’s goal is body “recomposition” aka fat loss / toning / getting lean. You do that first and foremost through improving your nutrition, and supplement it with building lean muscle and also burning fat through workouts.

Besides the great nutrition tools that come included in Beachbody on Demand with the various workout programs, we also have a fantastic tool to help you stay on track while also satisfying and even reducing your sugar/starch cravings. It’s a super dense infusion of superfood nutrition. A carefully powdered collection of over 70 amazing ingredients sourced from all over the world for their health-giving properties . . . available in vegan or whey based formulas in 9 flavors (including some fun seasonal ones), there’s truly something for everyone. It’s made to be consumed as a smoothie/shake. I’ve been using it every day since 2015 and expect I will continue for years to come! When it comes to supplements, this is the one I believe in the most.
