I write this from Florida where I’ve been for almost a week now. My mom has come through her breast cancer surgery and is recovering well, thank goodness! I spent the first two years of college pursuing nursing, now I’m playing nurse in my care for her. We’ve been so incredibly blessed by our friends and family…

I am so sorry to hear the news that your mother and family had to go through this hard time, but am thankful to hear that her surgery was well and she is recovering fabulously! Your mother is a beautiful woman (saw her photos here on your blog!) and seems like she has a strong heart. Best wishes to your entire family! xo
