My Grandma and Granddad :)
Gary and I are well on our way to what will be our new home in California! We set off on this adventure almost two months ago when we left for Montgomery from Florida and now after our stint there at Maxwell AFB we’re making the almost week-long trek West to Santa Barbara County, California. We’ve spent some nice time here in Texas with my Grandma and Granddad who happen to live right in our path (perfect for all of us!) and these are some pictures we took today to remember it by :) We did some antiquing, indulged at our favorite BBQ place with sweet tea and brisket (love) and otherwise just visited. We’ll get to go to church with them tomorrow and then we’ll be off on our next 8-hour drive and, of course, we’ll STILL be in Texas (which I don’t mind)! I’m thankful we’ve been kept safe so far and pray that we continue to be. I’m excited about seeing more of this great country as we move forward with our trip!
