Practice makes perfect, or so they say. I’ve heard it before–get out and shoot every day if you want to improve. Take photos of whatever you have around you in all different types of light from different angles at different times of day in different seasons. One of the things that’s around me all the time is my husband! And since he has an interest in this photography business of mine too and since I’ve just gotten a new DSLR and we have a backup, now we can shoot each other! ;)
We had a little shoot of our own at Vandenberg Air Force Base this weekend and really enjoyed the beautiful weather. I must say, it’s nice to be in some of the photographs instead of only behind the lens. This may just come in handy — who doesn’t like pictures of themselves?? On the other hand, he’s a little less willing to pose than I, so I think he’s getting more practice than me . . . hmmm.
I love that my hubby is so invested in this new venture of ours :)

How cool! Don’t you love that thing?! Lara pretty much baffles me with her brilliance. I can’t wait to go to Making Things Happen in less than two weeks now!
